NeuroTrainer provides VR simulations that integrate components across the perception-cognition-action continuum for the workout of a lifetime. Our exercises are designed by neuroscientists to isolate and challenge a muscle group that most neglect... the brain. Our technology uses artificial intelligence to control task complexity and ensure that athletes are given an appropriate level of challenge. The result is a new approach to athletic brain training that advances the field and brings it in line with current coaching practices.
Eye-hand coordination, dynamic visual acuity, tracking, visual reaction time and peripheral vision is where it all starts. Our research shows dramatic improvements in the brain’s perceptual systems in only 3 weeks of training.
Developing awareness is a skill that becomes seamless and subconscious with practice. Your attention networks help multi-task, hyper focus and control distractions. These abilities help you anticipate a play and make the best move.
Sports are fast-paced and complex. Balance, cognition and proprioception are all aspects of the brain's ability to perform at this high level. NeuroTrainer puts you a step ahead with quicker decisions and better mental juggling.
A quick reaction time is the combination of quick sight, fast decisions and swift muscle action. NeuroTrainer exercises these three components together to free up mental resources for better decision making during game play.
Simulation training allows the athlete to train the entire athletic system of visual processing, information processing, and physical action. Together this continuum of human behaviors, Perception-Cognition-Action, form a complete picture of brain functioning.
In contrast to the isolated approach of brain and vision programs, coaches choose to develop athletes with an integration of components from the perception-cognition-action continuum. Examples include batting practice, fielding practice, watching game film and visualization. We refer to these type of exercises as simulations because they create artificial re-enactments of a subset of the overall gameday experience. Simulations allow coaches to reduce the complexity of gameday, slow down and focus on a portion of the overall complexity. This is a fundamental approach to coaching. In sharp contrast, athletic brain and vision training focuses on overly isolated components of the Perception-Cognition-Action continuum. This approach ends up training a skill or ability without the critical integration of all components of real-life athletic ability. Training component abilities in isolation cannot work. Complex real-life performance requires a rich interplay of perception, cognition and action.
We do this by exercising the components of the brain as a system that must be trained together. The complete system includes seeing, processing and acting. Together this continuum of human behaviors, Perception-Cognition-Action, form a complete picture of brain functioning. Other programs isolate pieces of this continuum and fail to take a complete picture of brain activity.
Our economical and modern VR technology is mobile and motivating to use. Users enjoy the challenging and competitive exercises as they compete against their teammates for the best score. Coaches and staff love how easy it is to fit the automated 10-minute protocols into their busy schedules. Staff also appreciate the web portal that allows them to track and manage users.
Head injuries are a serious concern for stakeholders in both professional and amateur football. The reality is that these stakeholders are not always aligned, resulting in lack of adoption and compliance with solutions and products. For every coach or athletic trainer who wants to address the concussion problem, there is another resistant stakeholder or logistical hurdle that limits successful implementation of concussion safety measures.
We provide a proactive technology that is easy for all stakeholders to believe in. Our economical yet ultra-modern virtually reality technology is mobile and motivating to use. User compliance is significantly improved with our “gamified medicine”. Users enjoy the challenging and competitive exercises as they compete against their teammates for the best score. Coaches and staff love how easy it is to fit the automated 10 minute protocols into their busy schedules. Staff also appreciate the web portal that allows them to track and manage users.
Our breakthrough neuroscience pinpoints and exercises the neural network in a gentle and adaptive series of mental workouts. Athletes are taken through a TBI protocol that is guided by an artificially intelligent personal trainer. Compliance and buy-in is further improved as both athletes and coaches also see athletic gains from improved awareness, quicker decision making and focus; all of which translate to better athletes.
